Former PDA standout Brian White continues to make his mark on the world stage, turning 2025 into another milestone year for both Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT).

White, a Flemington, New Jersey native and proud PDA alumnus, has become one of Major League Soccer’s most consistent and prolific forwards. This March, he was called up to represent the United States in the Concacaf Nations League, joining head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for official competition following his debut call-ups in 2024.

After scoring his first international goal in 2024 against Costa Rica, White continued to earn the trust of the national team staff, becoming a regular name in the USMNT setup. He later returned to the national team during the Gold Cup this summer, and although a minor hamstring injury in September sidelined him temporarily, his form for both club and country remains among the best in American soccer.

At the club level, White has enjoyed a remarkable run with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, where he continues to rewrite the record books. In the 2025 season alone, White recorded 16 goals in 21 appearances (18 starts) in the regular season, extending his lead as the Whitecaps’ all-time top scorer in the MLS era with 58 career goals since joining the club in 2021.

His consistent excellence was recognized with a selection to the 2025 MLS All-Star Game, marking yet another career highlight for the former PDA striker who once led the lines on New Jersey training grounds.

Due to injuries, White only played in 21 out of 34 MLS regular season games in 2025, but still managed a 15+ goals season for the 3rd year in a row. The Whitecaps are hopeful to have their top goalscorer back for their postseason campaign, which starts on Sunday against FC Dallas.

From his days at PDA, where he learned the foundations of professionalism, discipline, and goal-scoring instinct, to now representing his country and leading the attack for one of MLS’s top clubs, Brian White’s journey is a source of pride for everyone in the PDA family.

“I probably spent more nights at PDA than I could possibly count and it was the best thing I could have ever done,” said White. “The coaches and the teammates I had helped me get to the level I’m at now. A number of the coaches are still part of life to this day and their support means the world to me. Thanks to them I was able to learn and develop as a player because they knew what it took to get to the next level.”

As PDA continues to develop the next generation of elite players, Brian’s success serves as a reminder that the pathway from PDA to the pros — and even to the national team — is real and attainable.

Good luck in the postseason, Brian! Your PDA family is proud to watch you keep raising the bar for American forwards everywhere.
