PDA Announcement May, 2009

Starting with the 2009/10 season, the Players Development Academy is excited to announce that the Girls program will be expanding to carry two highly competitive teams at each of the U8 thru U14 age groups. The multiple team model is one that has been very successful over the years at nationally recognized soccer clubs.  With the quality of girls youth soccer improving year after year, PDA is taking this step to offer their stated mission to additional high-level players.  The PDA Club will offer each team the opportunity to compete at the highest level, both nationally and internationally, provide a platform to give players the highest quality of training and competition, and support players to participate on state, regional and national teams.   All PDA teams will train and play at the PDA facility.

With the formation of the Elite Club National League for Girls, the PDA program will continue to be a leader by being at the forefront of youth soccer development, competing regionally at ages U12 thru U14, and nationally at ages U15 thru U17.   Mike O'Neill, PDA Girls Director of Coaching, will continue to provide his oversight to all the girls teams.

The PDA Club is currently conducting tryouts for the 2009/10 season. Please visit the Club website at www.pdasoccer.org for tryout dates.  Mike O'Neill and PDA staff members will be available at the tryouts to answer questions on this announcement.
