After competing in the ECNL Regional Championships in Aurora, Colorado, 2 PDA girls teams won their respective groups to qualify for the ECNL Nationals in Richmond, Virginia, July 10-15.
The U14 PDA O’Reilly qualified in league play throughout the year, going 16-0-1, and finishing #1 in the national standings. Joining the U14s are the U16s (Clash) and the U17s (Slammers), both winning their groups in Colorado going 2-0-1.
The U15s (Arsenal) went 2-0-1, playing very well, but failing to advance to nationals only by goal differential.
The U18s finished up their ECNL National Championship competition in Colorado finishing very strong and ending up #10 in the national standings.
“Getting 4 age groups out of a possible 5 a chance to win an ECNL National Championship is a real testament to the players, coaches and families that make all of this possible,” said Mike O’Neill, PDA Director of Coaching. Good luck and congratulations to all teams!
